8.4.1 Decimal Scale

The EHS’s rationale can be translated into a decimal scale. Although the classic EHS is the most common and broadly used, it is the authors’ understanding that the decimal (0–10) erection scale is ideal for the purpose of PDU.

This decimal scale is an intuitive and easily comprehensible scale. It can be converted into the EHS scale as demonstrated in Fig. 8.2, in which score 6 (or 60%) corresponds to the minimal hardness for penetration (EHS grade 3).
